What is Twisted Compass?

Our Beginnings

The story about how we started is a little more complicated than you may think. I’ve always had a brain wired for business, and I love writing. So in fourth grade I decided to write a book. That was all good and dandy until I decided that I wouldn’t be able to make enough money off of just selling books. I had to have something else to go with it. What would that be, you ask? Clothes!

Long story short, the clothing business took over and became more important than my book, at least for the time being. And now we’re here - Twisted Compass, a Christian, outdoor clothing company.

Our Name

Unfortunately, there’s not really a cool story about how we got our name. It just sounded cool to me.

My aunt, though, explained a meaning behind Twisted Compass that I completely agree with. She said unlike normal compasses, which lead us on ordinary paths in life, the Twisted Compass leads us on the path less traveled. Following Jesus and the outdoors.

Our Mission

If you’ve been following us for even just a couple of weeks, it should be obvious - or at least I hope it is - that we are a Christian, outdoor brand. Our mission is to encourage you and help you to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ during your outdoor adventures and expeditions.

Sometimes it’s hard to randomly go up to people and tell them about Jesus, especially if you’re in the middle of a 10 mile hike or doing backflips going down the ski slope 40 miles an hour. But if you’re wearing Twisted Compass, you’ve already got a conversation starter!

Our Anniversary

Believe it or not, our 1 year anniversary is fast approaching! It’s crazy to think that it’s been almost an entire year since May 15, 2020. Needless to say, it was quite the year, but without it, Twisted Compass wouldn’t be here.
